Yoga therapy, shaped around you.

Yoga was originally taught from teacher to student, one at a time. Yoga therapy brings it back to that: practices built for your body, your nervous system and your life, that you take home and make your own.

What is yoga therapy?

A practice that meets you where you are.

Our needs as individuals are vastly different. Your practice should suit your current health, age, body, cultural background and life situation.

A session can include any combination of movement, postures, breathing techniques, guided relaxation, mantra and meditation, all tailored to you. In essence, anything that moves you toward your most healthy, vibrant and embodied self. Approached in a restorative way it can support emotional regulation, stress reduction and mental clarity. Approached actively, it can support injury rehabilitation, pain reduction and physical wellbeing.

NDIS funding is available for yoga therapy. Contact us directly and we'll talk you through it.

Three approaches

Chosen for what your body needs right now.

Functional movement & rehabilitation

Starts at the physical level, building functional movement patterns and reshaping the posture habits that can lead to pain over time.

Can support: injury prevention and rehabilitation, pain reduction, mobility, natural movement patterns and the mind-body connection.

Restorative & relaxation

Usually recommended when you're depleted. Rest is the foundation of health, so we build practices that move you toward deep rest every day.

Can support: emotional regulation, nervous system regulation, stress, anxiety, digestion and healing within the body.

Breath & meditation

Meditation can seem impossible without structure. The yoga tradition holds a step by step method: body first, then breath, then the stilling of thought.

Can support: stress reduction, mental clarity, deep rest, spiritual connection and a sense of purpose.
